I’ve been getting super value out of my slow-cooker this winter, that’s for sure!
It just makes life SO easy…
Here’s my recipe for Slow-Cooked Goulash to go along with these yummy zucchini pancakes:
Ingredients
- 1 kg cubed beef or venison
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 tbs smoked paprika
- 1 tsp smoked chili flakes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tbs bacon fat
Servings: people
Instructions
- Rub the meat with the paprika, chili flakes & salt.
- Place the meat, wine and stock in your slow-cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- Increase the setting to high, add the cream and bacon fat and cook for another 3-4 hours until the meat is tender.
- Serve with fresh herbs, zucchini pancakes and greens
